Biographical / Historical

Boy Blue Entertainment is an Olivier Awarded hip-hop dance company and Barbican Centre Associate Artists. Founded by choreographer Kenrick 'H20' Sandy and composer Michael 'Mikey J' Asante, they work together on the development of all of BBE's productions and projects.



Boy Blue Entertainment's training programme involves over 150 dancers attending regular classes with now BBE being a company of 30 or so professional dancers and a youth company of approximately 40.



2012 saw BBE choreograph and create music for London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony, Thanks Tim segment, alongside director Danny Boyle and performing BBE: Touch to sell out audiences in Hong Kong; choreography and music composition for All Stars, a major film releasing via Vertigo Films in 2013; and featuring in, Jonzi D's Lyrikal Fearta Redux at Sadlers Wells.
